Privacy policy

Masterpiece collects no personal data and sends nothing over the internet.

This policy covers the Masterpiece app on every platform: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad. Last updated 4 October 2026.

What Masterpiece collects

Nothing. Masterpiece has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not connect to the internet: the Android app does not even ask for permission to.

What stays on your device

Masterpiece keeps its own files on your device only: your settings, MIDI mappings, combinations, recordings you make, a log of recent sessions, and a cache of the organs you load so they open faster next time. You can delete them at any time. On a phone or tablet, uninstalling the app removes them; on a computer they are in Masterpiece's own folder in your user profile. The log contains only what Masterpiece did, such as which organ it loaded, and is never sent anywhere unless you choose to attach it to a report yourself.

Files you open

Masterpiece reads the organ files you choose, where they are, to play them. It does not upload them or read any other files.

Permissions

Children

Masterpiece collects no data from anyone, children included.
